The Convention & Visitors Bureau is available for the following services: (Most services are complimentary to groups that book 50 or more room nights at local hotels)

Site Visits

The Convention & Visitors Bureau will arrange a site visit of the Multi-Purpose Events Center (MPEC) and the Hotel Accommodations of your choice.

Meeting Planning

A Convention & Visitors Bureau Staff member will attend your planning meetings to determine your delegation needs. They will provide you with the resources and support to make your convention/conference a success.

Tickets

The Convention & Visitors Bureau can design and produce function/meal tickets to your specifications. The "LoneStar" volunteers can greet your delegates and take their tickets for each of your events.

Transportation

The Convention & Visitors Bureau can make arrangements for mass transit shuttling between the hotels and the convention center as well as various activities. In addition to commercial charters and shuttling the Convention & Visitors Bureau can arrange for transportation provided by modernized vintage trolleys.

Speakers

With the Convention & Visitors Bureau's many resources we can arrange for a speaker on nearly any topic as well as a few helpful tips on choosing the right speaker for your delegation.

Registration

The Convention & Visitors Bureau can provide printed name badges and holders in advance or at on-site registration. We can also provide goodie bags or an information table that will include a map of the city, coupons to various stores/restaurants and a visitors guide. A knowledgeable "LoneStar" volunteer or Convention & Visitors Bureau staff member can be available to assist with registration, pass out goodie bags, or man the information table.

Entertainment & Catering

Take advantage of your one stop shopping for planning your evening activities. One of our several caterers will work with your group to create the perfect menu. The Convention & Visitors Bureau has several resources to secure bands, magicians, themed entertainment and much more that will help create the right atmosphere for a great party.

Mailings

To increase the attendance at your conference/convention, the Convention & Visitors Bureau can customize a mailer for your delegation. (Some restrictions apply)

Media

The Convention & Visitors Bureau can assist you with scheduling publicity, press conferences and creating press releases that will cover a five state area.

VIP Gifts

The Convention & Visitors Bureau will make your Very Important Person feel special and welcomed with a customized Wichita Falls gift.

Programs

The Convention & Visitors Bureau can assist you with the custom design and production of your program.

Tours

The Convention & Visitors Bureau is your resource for customized tours. Visit Shepard Air Force Base, home of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program. Also enjoy agricultural and industrial tours that illustrate the beginnings and continued growth of this region. Don't miss the tour of the Country Club Estates which features spectacular homes in a setting modeled after the famous Beverly Hills.

Spouse Activities

The Convention & Visitors Bureau offers an array of inexpensive seminars that are educational as well as entertaining from our unique arts and cooking demonstrations to spa sessions. We also offer traditional activities such as golfing, shopping or even a fashion show.
