The lazy days of Summer are here...but there's still plenty to do this July in Wichita Falls!

Independence Day celebrations abound throughout the City on July 3rd!  Start your morning at the Kell House for their Old Fashioned Fourth of July & Most Patriotic Children's Parade!  Then head out to Sheppard Air Force Base for Freedom Fest, complete with a car show, volleyball tournament, food and games plus live entertainment with headliner Wade Bowen!

Beginning July 9th, the Backdoor Theatre presents its' Summer Youth Musical "Pirates of Penzance" on the Main Stage.

Wichita Theatre Performing Arts Center debuts "Fiddler on the Roof", weekends July 9th-31st.

A classic event returns...the Soap Box Derby on Saturday, July 17th  in front of the downtown YMCA!  Kids (and kids at heart) will love to watch as these handmade cars race down the hill!

For more event information, please click on the calendar.  See why we've been named the "Official Best Weekend Getaway" in Texas for 2010!
